Cool OSX Apps Transition To Paid Membership Site
Dear Cool OSX Apps Users,
NOTE: We placed a FEW posts on the front page, since we had so many emails asking what the site looked like, since all they could see was a 404 Page Error. Only Members are able to see anything past the front page, be eligible for sales at 40-70% OFF and be eligible for the FREE software giveaways we are doing.
Cool OSX Apps is currently faced with a serious financial burden! We pay for the site out of our own pockets, from the expensive hosting bill each month to maintaining the site and ensuring it runs at optimal speed, so you all as the users can have the most pleasant browsing experience when utilizing our site. However, the expenses are growing each month, proving to be detrimental in being able to keep the site open. We simply cannot continue as a free site!
Since we have asked for donations from you (and to those of you who have donated time and time again, we thank you very much for your continued support)! We did not receive a sufficient amount to maintain the site, so we were faced with two options:
(1) We shut the site down forever (which we do not want to do)!
(2) We transition to a paid membership site for a very nominal monthly fee.
Therefore, as we do not want to shut the site down forever, we are forced to transition to a paid membership site beginning today, Thursday, November 27, 2008. The cost of the membership to gain full access to Cool OSX Apps will be only $5 USD per month and will be on a monthly subscription basis. $5 is just $0.16 a day or 1 Starbucks drink a MONTH!
We are also offering a discounted 12 months for only $50 USD per year (that is discounted $10, which is the 12 months for the price of ONLY 10 months); in other words, you get Two Months FREE!
